Launched in 2024 by Illene and Aaron Roggensack, Windfall Fundraising is a mother-and-son joint venture. The business is born at the intersection of their individual experiences, interests and competencies.

For 30 years, Illene has traveled the country as a nonprofit consultant.
She is best known for her work in fundraising, strategic planning
and effective nonprofit leadership.
Illene is a past president of Colorado Nonprofit Association.
She founded The Giving Club in her hometown of Grand Junction, CO ten years ago. Over time, she has seen a shifting reality of “what donors want”: fun and original experiences. At the same time, this strong champion of nonprofits recognizes the need for events that guarantee revenues, and that don’t tax staff and volunteers to the point of disappointing and negligible ROI.

When donning the green jacket as host of The Donation Game, Aaron Roggensack lives out a childhood dream: emulating the great Monty Hall.
Aaron is an Austin-based fan of all things vintage, bringing a natural creativity to Windfall Fundraising. His background includes hospitality management, training and event planning.
